About The Position

Do you love working with kids? Come join Edina Public Schools’ Community Education Department for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for individuals with a passion for childcare to assist our Program Supervisors in the planning and implementation of the summer school-age program. No formal training is required. At Edina Public Schools, we pride ourselves on being a learning community where all participate and all belong. A successful candidate will be a team player, have a strong desire to learn, and be passionate about equal access to learning for all children.

Requirements

• No formal childcare experience is required - we are looking for individuals who have a passion for helping people and enjoy working with kids.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.
• HS Diploma or equivalent

• Enthusiastic, flexible, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Creating and running extra-curricular activities for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, including art, music, games, and more.
• Supervising lunch, recess, attendance, and dismissal.
• Helping with the setup of the classroom and activities.
