The After Paint Production Manager will oversee daily operations of SDSM and After Paint production areas, ensuring production schedules are met in alignment with customer demand and delivery targets. This role involves monitoring workflow, labor utilization, and equipment performance to optimize efficiency, and coordinating with upstream and downstream departments to maintain smooth production flow. The manager will identify and resolve production bottlenecks, downtime, and quality issues, while ensuring all products meet internal and customer quality standards. A strong emphasis is placed on safety leadership, promoting a robust safety culture, conducting audits, training, and incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines. The role also includes leading, coaching, and developing production supervisors and employees, fostering employee engagement, and driving continuous improvement through lean manufacturing initiatives. Analyzing production data, leading improvement projects, and managing costs within budget targets are key aspects of this position. Collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain is essential, along with communicating production status and risks to leadership.
