About The Position

Safe at Home, a division of Kennedy Care, provides high-quality nanny services. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented After Hours Coordinator to support our child care program. This fully remote, part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible work environment and is passionate about helping families. The After Hours Coordinator will be the main point of contact for existing clients, managing shift scheduling and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. This role is key to upholding Safe at Home’s mission of providing trusted, responsive care.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must reside within 30 miles of Ann Arbor, MI.
  • Experience working with children in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of computer skills.
  • Compassion for staff and families.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Support the administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all open shift requests.
  • Reach out to caregivers to ensure all shifts are scheduled.
  • Respond to caregivers and families via email, text, and phone calls.
  • Manage caregivers on staff.
  • Resolve escalated client and caregiver issues.
  • Maintain composure in difficult situations.
  • Respond to all shift requests in a timely manner.
  • Documentation.
  • Maintain the fill rate.
  • Use electronic software for timekeeping.
  • Complete assigned training and education as necessary.
