About The Position

This role involves developing and updating ELINT curriculum to meet AFSOC training requirements. The position requires creating and modifying all training materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and practical exercises. The developer will coordinate with AFSOC units to identify training needs and share best practices, and liaise with joint, Air Force, and SOCOM ELINT organizations. The role also involves acting as a subject matter expert for ELINT methodologies and tools, assessing training and operational needs, and advising units on ELINT software utilization. Additionally, the position supports the development of ELINT Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and evaluates records, logs, and technical reports to identify electronic signal characteristics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience as 1N2X1A with instruction systems design.
  • Minimum 5 years combined hands-on electronic intelligence (1N2X1A) and Instructional Systems Design experience out of the last 12 years.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a graduate of the Air Force Signals Intelligence Analyst Course (1N2X1A) AFSC Awarding Course or service equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and updates ELINT curriculum.
  • Creates and modifies all training materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and practical exercises, to meet AFSOC training requirements.
  • Coordinates with AFSOC units to identify training needs and share best practices.
  • Liaises with joint, Air Force, and SOCOM ELINT organizations to leverage resources and promote interoperability.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for ELINT methodologies and tools.
  • Assesses the training and operational needs of AFSOC’s ELINT enterprise.
  • Advises and supports units on the access, utilization, and optimization of ELINT software.
  • Supports the development of ELINT (TTPs).
  • Provides direct support by evaluating records, logs, and technical reports to identify the characteristics of electronic signals.
