About The Position

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 1st Shift AFL Robust Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility.

Requirements

Previous machine operating experience- required.
Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.
Ability to stand up to 12 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred
Completion of 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period
No active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance
No more than 3 attendance points

Responsibilities

Ensure that the materials processed conform to industry quality criteria.
Perform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.
Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5"S" criteria.
Manage the orders being cut and packed to ensure customer due dates are being met.
Effectively communicates with maintenance when equipment problems arise.
Ensure full compliance with ISO and manufacturing visual and written procedures.
Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5S criteria.
Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
