About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring Affixing Tables General Labor for work in Sunnyvale, Texas. The role involves assembling and inspecting products, precisely placing small components according to design specifications, and handling materials in production and warehouse areas. Training is provided. The position works the graveyard shift, Monday through Friday, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Requirements

GED or high school diploma.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Reading comprehension skills to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
Basic math skills to measure parts and products.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 30–50 pounds.
Able to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse Associate experience is preferred.
Previous experience in precision placement or similar manual labor is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Read and follow written and visual instructions for assembling parts.
Check assembled products for correctness and quality, and correct products to match the product diagram.
Record product issues and the number of products assembled.
Inspect products and materials for defects or inconsistencies.
Verify that material quantities delivered by the Affixing Tables Operator are correct and label the material bag with the operator's name.
Place small pieces accurately on designated surfaces in alignment with design specifications.
Insert diamonds at least 1 mm in size into surfaces of 1.5 mm.
Measure and verify component placement within millimetric tolerances.
Transport materials between workstations, storage areas, and production areas.
Organize and store materials so they are orderly and accessible.
Immediately report material defects and safety concerns to the supervisor.
