About The Position

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Loyola University Maryland is seeking an engaging instructor to occasionally teach one or two sections of Italian 101-104 (Beginning and Intermediate). Courses are taught in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and course times are typically from 9 am to 3pm. Review of applications is ongoing.

Requirements

  • M.A. in Italian or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Italian as a second language at the university level.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification by the first day of employment.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • Teach one or two sections of Italian 101-104 (Beginning and Intermediate) occasionally.
  • Conduct courses in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, typically between 9 am and 3 pm.
