About The Position

Akima Global Logistics is seeking professionals to support FTOS functions, specifically aircrew training and Standardization & Evaluation (Stan/Eval) support. The role focuses on non-flying duties within training squadrons that are traditionally performed by rated personnel as additional duties.

Requirements

Must have an active Secret clearance.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have the ability to operate the following systems/programs: (Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS, GTIMS and/or PEX)).
Must be familiar with SharePoint websites and communities of practice.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Access highly desired.

Responsibilities

Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail and IAW local standards.
Opt members for checkride testing in MS as they enter the 6th month prior to their checkride expiration date.
Review student evaluations and report evaluation trends monthly, or per local procedures.
Coordinate with the Stan/Eval officer to review and update student/permanent party records (Form 8/4350/942s), folders (FEFs) AFMAN 11-2(MDS) V1 for the attached aircraft.
Take and log inputs, then prepare coordination for the Chief Stan/Eval Officer to update flying publications as needed.
