About The Position

The Aesthetician provides skin care related services for patients under physician supervision.

Requirements

• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an Esthetician.
• Current Virginia licensure as an Esthetician.
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a medical office setting performing skin care.
• Physical: Lifting 50-100 lbs
• Activities: Prolonged standing, Prolonged sitting, Frequent bending, Walking (distance), Reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive), Repetitive motion
• Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem-solving, Hearing, Speak clearly, Write legibly, Reading, Logical thinking
• Emotional: Fast pace environment, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent and intense customer interactions, Able to adapt to frequent change, Steady pace
• Noisy environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skin care services to patients.
• Document patient history and recommendation for skin care treatment.
• Recognize potential and actual skin problems and make appropriate physician referral.
• Recommend skin care products/equipment.
