Requirements
- Completion of a state-licensed cosmetology or esthetician program.
- Proven experience performing skincare treatments, facials, and advanced aesthetic procedures.
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and post-treatment care.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Aesthetician (required).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and education.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a spa, dermatology, or medical aesthetics setting is preferred.
- Certification in advanced skincare treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser therapy) may be required.
- Certification in specialized treatments (e.g., laser, micro-needling) may be required based on local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs, set goals, and create personalized treatment plans.
- Perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and other non-invasive services.
- Offer services like microneedling, laser treatments, and radiofrequency (based on qualifications).
- Recommend and educate clients on professional skincare products.
- Provide aftercare guidance to ensure optimal results and minimize risks.
- Build strong client relationships through excellent service and personalized advice.
- Ensure tools and treatment areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Work with the spa and medical team to enhance the client experience.
- Stay current with trends and innovations in skincare and aesthetics.
