About The Position

Vintage Hotels & Niagara’s Finest Hotels is currently seeking an Aesthetician to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity that can provide flexibility, valuable work experience, and a chance to work with a tenured team. This posting is for an existing/new vacancy within Lais Hotel Properties Limited. The primary goal of this position is to provide each guest with exceptional and high-quality service, delivered with the utmost professionalism and friendliness, and in an efficient manner consistent with the operation of a first-class spa treatment facility.

Requirements

Aesthetics diploma (2 year-program) from reputable College
Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
Must have a pleasant personality and professional demeanor
Must be self-motivated and have good time management skills
Confidence in selling and up-selling products and services
Positive sales-oriented personality
Desire to meet goals
Ethical and honest

Nice To Haves

First Aid Training is an asset
CPR Training is an asset
Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
Meeting established up-selling and sales goals
Providing facial and body treatments
Performing manicure and pedicure services
Providing salon services if required
Maintaining impeccable standards of sanitation at all times, consistent with Public Health guidelines
Providing an immaculate environment for each guest while experiencing their treatment
Ensuring each Guest experiences absolute comfort and relaxation
Providing a beautiful experience for each Guests’ five senses
Fulfilling and exceeding the expectations of each Guest
Responding to Guest concerns and inquiries as required
Taking ownership of issues and following up accordingly
Using the utmost care to discover each Guests’ needs
Working closely with the Spa Concierge to ensure the Guests’ needs are met
Working as a team with the both spas to ensure a seamless, professional experience
Providing assistance to fellow team members when required
Presenting a gracious, warm and professional atmosphere
Offering a highly aesthetic personal image as an example of your personal image skills
Presenting a professional image by adhering to grooming standards
Continuously improving body therapy, facial therapy and guest service skills
Communicating the need for supplies or assistance
Organizing and having study materials and manual at all times
Promoting retail sales products and meeting sales quotas by educating guests in a professional manner
Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services
Suggesting additional products and services meeting our guests’ specific preferences
Assessing guests’ individuals needs to meet standards for additional products and services
Actively seeking ways to meet guests’ product or service needs
Attending training sessions to ensure product knowledge is always up to date
All other duties as assigned
