About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Weld Inspector to support our aerospace manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and willingness to uphold industry weld standards.
Requirements
- Ability to use Microscope and other visual enhancement equipment for prolonged periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or associate degree preferred.
- Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Nadcap weld audit requirements.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.
- Knowledge of ERP systems infor Syteline
- Prior weld experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of welded aerospace components.
- Verify conformance to internal weld schedules.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and weld symbols to verify conformance.
- Document inspection results on weld forms as well as electronic test plan.
- Verify adherence to industry standards such as AWS D17.1, ASME, or Nadcap requirements.
