About The Position

At Electric Power Systems (EPS), we design and deliver advanced energy storage systems supporting the next generation of aerospace, defense, and transportation. Our work sits at the intersection of energy storage, systems engineering, advanced mobility, and manufacturing. This role involves working across engineering, manufacturing, quality, program management, leadership, and directly with customers to turn complex requirements into systems that perform in the real world. The engineer will contribute throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development and verification, system integration, technical analysis, safety and reliability assessments, testing, certification, and technical documentation. Responsibilities also include participating in technical interchange meetings, helping resolve integration challenges, supporting customer and flight-test activities, and contributing to proposal efforts when needed. The ideal candidate will understand how requirements, interfaces, hardware, software, testing, safety, and manufacturing all connect.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of aerospace systems engineering experience
  • Experience developing, validating, verifying, and maintaining system requirements
  • Experience working with aerospace regulations, certification requirements, and engineering standards
  • Strong experience with hazard, safety, reliability, and failure analysis, including FHA, SSA, and FMECA
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Candidates must meet the applicable definition of a U.S. Person under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
