At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As a highly autonomous systems engineer with established professional expertise across the full SE development cycle, you will be responsible for owning subsystem requirements and deeply understanding and communicating impacts of those requirements and verifications. You will be responsible for challenging requirements and improving processes where needed. You will drive cross-functional resolution, leading subsystem level specification through verification. This role requires understanding and supporting CONOP development, ICD maintenance, and developing relationships with designers and operators who own and test the subsystem. You will interface regularly with New Glenn systems engineering, the Launch Ops Architecture team and to participate in gated reviews. Big-picture systems thinking coupled with being detail-oriented suits this role well. There is much variety across test stands, launch facilities and daily tasking built into the team's scope.
