About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Quality Systems Engineer to join their growing space launch services team. This role is part of a program dedicated to providing rideshare opportunities to spacecraft and satellites onboard NSSL launch vehicles. The position is within the Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources to US government customers to ensure the success of missions around the globe. Parsons is a digitally enabled solutions provider focused on creating the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred), or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in quality engineering and/or systems engineering, additional education
Experience with AS9100 certification and audits.
Experience in launch and/or spacecraft systems engineering.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Active TS/SCI clearance
Hands-on operations or technician background.
Familiarity with quality management systems and industry standards.
Experience supporting technical product lines or integration activities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Responsibilities

Supporting quality assurance for engineering and production activities.
Assisting with AS9100 certification and audit processes.
Performing systems engineering tasks including requirements, traceability, CONOPS, verification, testing, and analysis.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance.
Engaging in hands-on operations and supporting technician-level activities as needed.
