About The Position

The Aerospace Quality Engineer will partner with customers to understand their QA needs and provide solutions. This role involves completing customer complaints with customers and suppliers, and creating plans for standard products. The engineer will also lead and create internal and external trainings as a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, review FAIS from factory and send to customers, and manage customer portals. Additionally, the position requires performing and supporting internal AS9100 audits and partnering with suppliers to support inspection gaps. Experience completing PPAP/FAI is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline
• 3 years’ experience in an engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 2 years’ experience in quality including experience with complex surfaces and assemblies
• Knowledge of aerospace processes, such as AS9100
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to self-manage and successfully work without supervision
• Ability to handle and prioritize dynamic workload
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Proven proficiency with presentations and public speaking
• Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee)

• Master’s degree counts towards 2 years’ experience
