About The Position

An Aerospace Quality Control (QC) Inspector makes sure parts and systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. They inspect parts and complete work to ensure everything matches approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Requirements

  • More than 2 years of quality control inspection experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
  • High school diploma and technical training in aviation or a related field.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and agile.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Transport Canada or AS9100 standards is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Inspection: Involves inspecting materials, parts, and products throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Read Technical Documents: Use drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify requirements.
  • Use Measuring Tools: Measure parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Handle Quality Issues: Identify defects, document problems, and create non-conformance or rejection reports when needed.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate inspection, compliance, and repair records.
