Aerospace Production - Laminator I & II - Weekend 1st Shift
About The Position
SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking motivated, reliable, and safety-focused individuals to join their growing production team. As a Laminator, you will help manufacture high-quality composite aerospace parts by performing a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI). This role offers a unique weekend shift schedule (Friday-Sunday, 4:00 AM - 4:30 PM) that allows for weekdays off and provides the opportunity to work 36 hours while being paid for 40. Requirements
- Manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or other hands-on experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with your hands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
Responsibilities
- Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
- Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
- Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
- Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
- Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
