The Aerospace Process Engineer will analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity. This role supports operations' tasks ranging from daily assignments to long-term projects, regularly interacting with shop floor employees, leads, and supervisors to understand issues and identify technical solutions. The engineer will provide training to supervisors and shop floor operators, continuously manage Manufacturing Excellence projects to reduce manufacturing costs, and serve as a change agent in continuous improvement. This position is an active participant in site-wide continuous improvement activities, including idea generation and project implementation. The role also ensures that processes and equipment adhere to safety standards and regulations, manages CAPEX projects, leads root cause analysis, and supports or develops the design of new tools and shop floor fixtures. Additionally, the engineer will develop/modify work instructions, maintain accurate records, create and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), interact with external customers, and support New Product Induction (NPI), Purchasing, Quality Departments, and vendor visits/audits.
