About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Our goal is to be regarded as an irreplaceable resource by our customers. The only way for a company to meet such a goal is to consistently meet production deadlines and expectations. The Aerospace Part Painter prepares and paints aerospace components using specialized coatings and spray equipment. Responsibilities include surface preparation, masking, Alodine touch-up, paint application, quality inspection, and compliance with aerospace quality standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of: Paint mixing ratios, surface preparation, spray-painting techniques, coating systems
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to wear respirators and PPE for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare aerospace parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, and inspecting for defects.
  • Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to operation sheets and technical specifications.
  • Apply coatings using spray guns.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and coating specifications.
  • Inspect parts for thickness, coverage, defects, and compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow all aerospace safety procedures, and accurately record production and quality data.
  • Work with quality assurance and production teams to meet deadlines and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
