About The Position
FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on CFM56 and V2500 engines. FTAI’s propriety portfolio of products, including the Module Factory and a joint venture to manufacture engine PMA, enables it to provide cost savings and flexibility to our airline, lessor, and maintenance, repair, and operations customer base. Additionally, FTAI owns and leases jet aircraft which often facilitates the acquisition of engines at attractive prices. FTAI invests in aviation assets and aerospace products that generate strong and stable cash flows with the potential for earnings growth and asset appreciation. Requirements
- Experience in the aeronautical field / manufacturing industry is an asset
- Gas turbine component painting is a strong asset
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Be autonomous, able to work without supervision
- Be meticulous and organized
Responsibilities
- Must be able to follow manufacturer's instructions
- Define, verify and prepare the parts before applying the coating
- Prepare the product mixture to be applied to the parts
- Apply the coating using the appropriate tools
- Perform the necessary surface polishing
- Check output for consistency with specifications and eliminate defects
- May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation to another
- May be required to clean parts
- May be required to work in another category
- Ability to work with others and to make suggestions and improve procedures
