About The Position

UCF Health is seeking a part-time Aerospace Medicine Navigator to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) medical evaluations for commercial and private pilots and air traffic controllers. This position works at the Lake Nona campus UCF Health Gateway Clinic 16 hours per week (Thursdays and Fridays) with the expectation of transitioning to full-time in the near future. Responsibilities include conducting FAA-required medical screenings including blood pressure measurements, visual acuity testing, color perception testing, performing ECGs, entering medical data, and providing professional patient guidance. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in a healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 13 years of healthcare experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in a healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

  • Medical training (EMT, Paramedic, or CMA)
  • Experience with ECGs and medical data entry
  • Familiarity with FAA medical processes
  • BLS certification
