Aerospace Engineer

Booz Allen HamiltonHouston, TX
$69,300 - $158,000

About The Position

Aerospace Engineer The Opportunity: This position will be joining the Booz Allen Space Environments Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Team that supports the client by tackling the challenges of lunar dust contamination of spacecraft and other assets by modeling the complex interactions between dust particles, the space environment, and spacecraft. To do so, they develop and use advanced computational modeling tools and techniques. Join the team as they develop a comprehensive modeling and analysis framework for the client’s Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP) to characterize the risks lunar dust poses to the success of a permanent human presence on the Moon. As an aerospace engineer on the team, you will be responsible for developing new M&S capabilities and will model systems and environments of interest and simulate physical phenomena such as plasma interactions with spacecraft and dust. Join us. The world can’t wait.
