About The Position

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a motivated, reliable, and safety-focused Aerospace Paint Prepper I for their Renton location. This role is crucial in preparing surfaces for painting according to customer specifications, contributing to high-quality composite structures and assemblies for leading aerospace programs. Requirements

• Capable of meeting schedules and time allowances for production requirements.
• Ability to comprehend detailed instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Excellent eye and hand coordination.
• Ability to use hand tools and other pneumatic tools.
• Ability to properly weigh and mix chemicals.
• Must meet ITAR export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status required).

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years experience in Aerospace and similar role
• Experience with sander, Bondo and/or mudding.

Responsibilities

• Performs surface preparation, including sanding, taping and cleaning.
• Perform simple rework according to customer specification.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Proper disposal of unused chemicals.
