About The Position

Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company and a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms, supporting engines in the aerospace, energy, and defense industries. This is an hourly position with Local 475, with a rate of pay of $33.52/hr. The hours are 3:00pm - 11:00pm daily with weekends as needed.

Requirements

Must be able to work from sketches, schematics, and simple prints with minimal supervision.
Must be able to perform repair jobs such as changing oil in pumps and machine overhauls.
Housekeeping and daily checks are necessary.
Must have working knowledge and experience in Plumbing, Heating, ventilation and air conditioning, Electric power and controls, Gas furnace operation, repair and control, Carpentry and painting, Vacuum Systems, and Dust Collection Systems.
Must have knowledge of welding and brazing.
Must understand the principle of operations and repairs of heat treat equipment.
Must be comfortable operating a scissor lift.
HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be fluent in English, (speaking, reading, writing).
Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds.
Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 25 pounds.
Minimum pull – 40 pounds.
Must be a US person (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status).
