About The Position

Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company and a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms, supporting engines in the aerospace, energy, and defense industries. We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and keeping manufacturing equipment running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This is a hands-on position where your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability.

Requirements

Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings
Working knowledge of: Plumbing systems, HVAC systems, Electrical power and controls, Gas furnaces and heat-treat equipment, Vacuum systems, Dust collection systems, Carpentry and painting
Welding and brazing experience
Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principles
Comfortable operating a scissor lift
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
High School diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience preferred
Experience maintaining heat-treat or vacuum furnace equipment
Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
Manufacturing maintenance certifications or vocational training
Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment
Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues
Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems
Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs
Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed
Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required
Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards
