About The Position

Cascade Engineering Technologies is an aerospace company specializing in metrology-based machining of titanium and Inconel castings, Inconel forgings, and aluminum components for commercial and defense sectors globally. The Aerospace Assembly Technician assembles aerospace components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements. This is a full-time swing-shift role in Canby, Oregon, scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay is $20–$26 per hour, plus a 5% shift differential; the posting also lists an annual salary range of $41,600–$54,080.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
Aerospace assembly experience is a plus but not required.
Automotive, aviation, mechanical, or maintenance experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare parts and complete assembly operations according to work instructions.
Drill, ream, and countersink holes to specified tolerances.
Operate hydraulic presses to install bushings, bearings, and related components.
Install rivets, nutplates, seals, bolts, and other aerospace hardware.
Apply adhesives, sealants, fasteners, bearings, and related materials.
Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, OHM meters, and other inspection equipment.
Mark finished parts according to customer and engineering requirements.
Follow manufacturing processes and work instructions exactly as defined.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and support Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention practices.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Communicate material or supply shortages to supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
