Night Shift Aerospace Assembly Tech
About The Position
Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing company is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Tech for the night shift. This role offers a 20% differential pay for night shift work. The position is located at 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. The company is a team-oriented organization known for offering competitive wages and benefits within the Aerospace Industry in the valley. Candidates must be able to work 40+ hours per week in a fast-paced, high-demand, quality environment. The company is a federal subcontractor and maintains a drug-free workplace. Requirements
- Experience installing helicoils & other aircraft hardware required
- Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis without assistance.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit the majority of the shift
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Install helicoils & other aircraft hardware
- Assemble parts
- Perform functional, leak and pressure testing
- Identify parts by different marking methods
- Interprets MOT (Manufacturing Operation and Tooling)
- May perform other duties as directed
