About The Position

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking to fill an Assembler I position on the 1st Shift at their Renton location. This role involves performing finish assembly processes on composite aircraft products on a moving line or bench, working according to task times. The Assembler is an experienced, semi-skilled worker who operates machines and factory-related equipment, works under moderate supervision, and achieves competency with assigned skills. Requirements

Fine hand motor skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.
Self- motivated and quick learner.
Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of process specifications.
Bonding experience.
Ability to utilize measuring equipment, including scales and calipers.
Small Tools

Responsibilities

Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
Hand wrap insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
Perform light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
