About The Position

This opportunity is specifically designed for transitioning service members and recently separated veterans who want to remain connected to mission-focused aerospace and defense work while building a long-term civilian career in advanced technology and technical services sales. Candidates with military experience from the Space Force, Air Force, or Navy will be especially well aligned due to exposure to aerospace systems, communications, radar, avionics, mission systems, electronic warfare, or other highly technical operational environments. You will represent specialized FPGA and embedded engineering capabilities supporting advanced avionics, radar systems, software-defined radio (SDR), communications platforms, sensor fusion, deterministic systems, and other mission-critical technologies used across aerospace, defense, and government programs. While this is a sales-focused role, the client is not looking for a traditional career salesperson. Instead, they are seeking someone with technical credibility, professionalism, discipline, curiosity, and the ability to build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, program managers, and procurement teams. This is an ideal opportunity for a veteran who understands complex technical environments, communicates well with highly skilled professionals, and wants to leverage military experience into a high-growth career path supporting cutting-edge defense and aerospace technologies.

  • Demonstrated discipline, initiative, work ethic, and relationship-building ability
  • Interest in technical sales and willingness to learn FPGA and embedded engineering services
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams
  • Comfortable working within a commission-driven, performance-based compensation model

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships within defense, aerospace, space, or government contractor environments are highly desirable
  • Background in electrical engineering, embedded systems, RF communications, digital signal processing, or FPGA-related technologies is a plus
  • Active or previous security clearance is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with aerospace, defense, government, and prime contractor organizations requiring FPGA and embedded engineering support
  • Identify and pursue opportunities involving avionics, radar systems, communications platforms, SDR, embedded systems, sensor fusion, deterministic systems, and electronic warfare technologies
  • Conduct outreach to engineering leaders, procurement teams, and program managers to understand technical and operational challenges
  • Learn and effectively communicate highly technical FPGA development capabilities and engineering services
  • Maintain consistent follow-up, pipeline management, and customer engagement activities
  • Build credibility and trust with highly technical customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate internally with engineering and leadership teams to align customer needs with technical solutions
  • Support long-term business development efforts within defense and aerospace markets
  • Attend customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities as needed

Benefits
