About The Position

KBR is seeking an Aeronautical Systems Engineer to support the TRMC JMETC Requirements group. This role involves working across the JMETC enterprise to support large force exercise, distributed test execution and data collection, and the integration of Service Operational Test and Training Infrastructure and capabilities (OTTI-C) with TRMC capabilities. The candidate will serve as the TRMC range liaison for NAS Pt Mugu, monitoring and reporting range activities. Responsibilities include providing oversight of engineering efforts for platform data integration and data analysis to meet RDT&E service requirements, assisting in the collection of service mission relevant use cases, requirements, and user stories, and identifying and reviewing resources for relevant work. The role also involves leading integration efforts, communicating activity status to leadership, coordinating project priorities, and providing input for process improvement. The position is primarily located at NAS Point Mugu, CA, and the greater Western Ranges area, with potential travel for requirements collection and event execution. TS/SCI and various level of SAP data support will be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Mathematics
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Minimum of 20 years’ experience
  • Experience Identifying and communicating best practices throughout the company
  • Experience with 4th and 5th Generation aircraft flight test and data management
  • Experience working with OUSW (R&E) and TRMC
  • Knowledge of TRMC investment and project management processes
  • Military or Naval Acquisition Program knowledge
  • Experience with Project and Performance Management
  • Communication and Presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Open Air Battle Shaping (OABS)
  • Knowledge of Testing and Training

Responsibilities
