About The Position

You will be the X‑59 Senior Advisor for Fuel Systems for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering fuel‑system expertise and solutions throughout the X‑59 test and operational phases. As the X‑59 Senior Advisor for Fuel Systems you will be responsible for shaping fuel‑system strategy, ensuring safe and efficient operation, and guiding the NASA Armstrong partnership.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 12 years related experience.
Experience with the design and operation of the X-59 fuel system
Experience mentoring mid-career engineers
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on fuel‑system design for the X‑59 aircraft during test and utilization.
Advise the NASA Armstrong program on performance, safety, and integration issues.
Conduct on‑site analysis, troubleshoot anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate periodic travel to the NASA Armstrong facility and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Document technical findings and contribute to lessons‑learned reports for future programs.
