Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
8+ years’ hands-on experience in fracture mechanics, DADT, or fatigue analysis
Minimum 3 years’ MRB experience providing structural substantiation and recommendations
Expertise in metallic structure analysis and crack growth evaluation
Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven work ethic

Nice To Haves

Advanced knowledge of F-16 or F-22 structural systems
Experience with in-house or proprietary crack growth tools
Familiarity with military aircraft production and depot support processes

Responsibilities

Conduct advanced Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) and fatigue analysis for metallic structures in new designs and existing aircraft
Apply fracture mechanics to evaluate and extend service life of F-16 and F-22 airframes
Utilize proprietary crack growth analysis tools to perform thorough service life evaluations
Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities by analyzing non-conforming parts and providing data-driven structural recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address field, depot, and ground testing requirements
Prioritize multiple technical tasks independently to meet dynamic project timelines
