About The Position

You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Stf for the Advanced Development Programs – Skunk Works which is responsible for designing and integrating next‑generation weapon systems. As the Aeronautical Engineer Stf you will be responsible for driving the integration and design synthesis of the XR/AGM‑158 Flex weapon system family while collaborating across a multi‑disciplinary team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or above Degree in an Engineering Discipline
Experience in airframe structure design and analysis
Experience with metallic and composite design
Experience with CATIA V5 and or 3DX
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Experience working with LM BAs
Experience interacting with suppliers, external customers and Production Operation
MRB coordination and support
Experience with hand stress analysis
Experience with hypersonic boost-glide systems

Responsibilities

Lead integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation.
Support and conduct multi‑disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost.
Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth production operations.
Generate and present technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders.
Mentor early‑career engineers and champion One‑LM culture across cross‑functional teams.
