About The Position

As the Aeronautical Engineer Sr Staff, you will be responsible for advancing finite element analysis that underpins the design, development, and sustainment of our premier military aircraft programs. Your responsibilities will include developing and validating high-fidelity finite element models for F-35, P-47, IFG, and ADP platforms, conducting structural analyses, interpreting results, and providing actionable recommendations to design teams. You will also partner with cross-functional engineers to support design reviews and certification efforts, mentor junior analysts, promote best practices in modeling and simulation, and identify opportunities to enhance analysis efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Proficient in using FEA pre/post processors Altair Hypermesh, MSC Patran, and TMP SLIM/Vision
  • Proficient in using FEA solver MSC Nastran
  • Proficient in using CATIA V5/V6 and 3DX Software
  • Previous experience with leading, supervising, and training technical team members in FEA techniques
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities
