Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Aeronautical Engineer Intern for Aero and Thermodynamics. In this role, you will research, define, analyze, develop, design, perform wind tunnel testing and data reduction, test and verify Aerodynamics. Support integration and flight test activities. Ensure program objectives are accomplished through troubleshooting and system subject matter expertise to assist in maintenance and delivery of effective technical data. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aeronautical engineering, model-based design software, MATLAB. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
  • MATLAB experience
  • CATIA or Solidworks experience
  • Dynamics classwork
