Requirements

  • FAA Commercial pilot certificate
  • Flight instructor ratings with Instrument and Multi-engine land
  • 300/1000 hours of total flight time
  • 100/350 hours of Multi-engine time
  • 25 hours within the last 12 calendar months
  • 100/300 hrs. of part 137 work
  • Has served as an Intern Pilot for a min of 1 season (April-November)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Available to work Monday-Friday and some weekends, as needed
  • Ability to obtain and maintain mandatory licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record search

Responsibilities

  • Be able to keep a clean, tidy work environment
  • Always maintain a professional attitude while representing VDCI
  • Preflight and post flight aircraft thoroughly
  • Report all aircraft squawks in a timely manner to Chief Pilot and/or the Director of Maintenance
  • Loading and unloading of aircraft
  • Fly aerial missions as required
  • Act at times as liaison between customers, Chief Pilot and/or Assistant Chief Pilot.
  • Be licensed and maintain aerial licenses in required states that missions are flown
  • Maintain a valid second-class medical certificate
  • Participate in all company required in house functions
  • Document all flight data as required by FAR’s, state and local requirements
  • Comply with all OSHA, state, and government requirements regarding PPE, Hazmat safety,
  • Comply with all company flight ops. and FAA regulations as required
