About The Position

This role involves setting poles and anchors for overhead telecommunication lines, as well as installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead power lines and associated equipment. The Aerial Lineman will climb poles and towers and utilize bucket trucks to access power lines, test electrical equipment for proper operations, and interpret technical plans, blueprints, and diagrams. Adherence to all company and departmental procedures, regulations, and safety requirements is essential. Safety training as required by the position and paperwork filing/maintenance are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months verifiable experience as a lineworker OR recent completion of linemen/lineworker training program
Valid driver's license
Valid DOT Health Card
Possess strong knowledge of electrical safety, safety regulations and industry standards
Ability to communicate and listen effectively with customers, employees, etc.
Basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe manner
