About The Position

This role involves setting poles and anchors for overhead telecommunication lines, as well as installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead power lines and associated equipment. The position requires climbing poles and towers, and utilizing bucket trucks to access power lines. Responsibilities also include testing electrical equipment, interpreting technical plans, blueprints, and diagrams, and adhering to all company and departmental procedures, regulations, and safety requirements. Safety training and paperwork maintenance are also part of the duties.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months verifiable experience
Valid drivers license
Valid DOT Health Card
Possess strong knowledge of electrical safety, safety regulations and industry standards
Ability to communicate and listen effectively with customers, employees, etc.
Basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe manner
