About The Position

This is a full-time position focused on professional tree maintenance activities, particularly in relation to utility lines. The role involves operating aerial lifts and performing trimming tasks while adhering to safety protocols. The position requires the ability to work in various conditions, including storm work, and emphasizes continuous skill improvement and teamwork. Requirements

Valid Driver’s license required.
Must meet I-9 requirements.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by Foreperson.
Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree debris.
Clean up and dispose of all debris.
Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily operations.
Constantly observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills in a continued effort to improve your own professional skills.
Be ready and willing to assist other crew members in all aspects of daily operations.
Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area by enforcing safe job practices, keeping work area clean and orderly, and staying in frequent voice communication with co-workers.
Perform duties for storm work as needed.
