About The Position

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental located in Kaukauna, WI is seeking an Aerial Lift Dispatcher to provide logistical support, to direct the activities of tractor-trailer drivers, and support personnel. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

Requirements

Experienced in trucking and dispatch functions.
Knowledge of the permitting process for oversize loads.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.
Able to sit for longs periods of time.
Able to use phone, computer and other office equipment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Direct the delivery of aerial equipment, the activities of tractor-trailer drivers and support personnel including service technicians.
Keep records, logs, and schedules of the calls they make and/or receive, the vehicles they monitor and control, and the actions they take.
Ensure on time delivery of aerial lifts, support equipment, and personnel to job sites.
Maintaining correct files for Safety compliance, DOT/FMCSA regulations and Insurance requirements.
Ensure company drivers maintain compliance with HOS and safety regulations, and company safety policies.
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
Monitor all annual inspections of Aerial Equipment, Trailers & Trucks.
Coordinate with the Service Department to schedule inspection prior to expiration.
Coordinate with Sales staff to ensure the proper equipment is delivered in an orderly manner.
Submit billing information to other departments.
Other duties as assigned.
