About The Position

This position serves as an Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) operational and technical aviation systems expert. The role requires experience with force management, life cycle management, and tactical employment of diversified US Army fixed-wing Special Electronic Mission Aircraft assigned to the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). INSCOM’s A-ISR fleet is undergoing a transition to incorporate the Army’s High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) Global 6500 jet platforms into the army program of record. During this transition, the fleet will include various advanced systems such as the Airborne Reconnaissance and Target Exploitation Multi-Mission Intelligence System (ARTEMIS), Airborne Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare System (ARES), Army Theater-level High-Altitude Expeditionary Next Airborne–Signals Intelligence (ATHENA-S), and ATHENA – Radar (ATHENA-R). The focus of this role will be on aircraft integration, modernization, and standardization. It requires collaboration with multiple agencies including INSCOM units, the Army Staff, PEO Aviation, Fixed-Wing Program Office, PEO Intelligence Electronic Warfare & Surveillance (IEW&S), PD-Sensors, Aerial Intelligence (SAI), and Army Capability Manager Intelligence Sensors (ACM-IS). The candidate must possess advanced knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, policies, and procedures. This role will support the government with staff actions, including the creation of briefings, white papers, EXSUMs, and technical reports for the headquarters General Staff. Travel to military units at home station and deployed locations may be required for assistance visits. Occasional overtime work may be necessary to meet product suspense dates.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Operational experience and proven knowledge integrating intelligence collection systems
Experience creating GO/Senior level briefings, information papers and executive summaries
MA/MS degree and 15 years of relevant ISR employment experience and 2 years’ experience on a major command headquarters or DoD staff; OR BA/BS degree and 20 years of relevant ISR employment experience and 4 years’ experience on a major command headquarters or DoD staff
Advanced knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Provide operational and technical aviation systems expertise for A-ISR.
