The Aerator Operator participates in overall production outcomes associated with the die cutting department, working in the Printing WIP area to facilitate the movement and transferring of WIP product through the Cutting Department. This role involves maintaining and organizing the production floor and is intended to help the employee gain knowledge to prepare for a next-level position in die cutting or another department within the facility.

Requirements

  • H.S. Education or equivalent.
  • Computer literate.
  • Miscellaneous helper qualified.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Technical skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Good attendance.
  • Able to motivate other team members.
  • Able to participate in teams and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Aerate all pallets of product produced by press department or other materials as requested.
  • Utilize SAP ZSCH to maintain and organize production floor.
  • Stage product for die cutting departments.
  • Assist PMR and Separating departments when needed.
  • Assist die cutting department with transferring of tooling during make ready.
  • Cover breaks on die cutting equipment once trained.
  • Generally assist throughout department when needed.
  • Help to maintain SQF compliance of facility.
  • Clean, lubricate and maintain Aerator.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
  • Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
  • Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
  • Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
  • Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.
