About The Position

Diverse Agile Solutions (DAS) is seeking a highly skilled AEM Website Developer to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-level web platforms built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate will possess strong front-end and back-end AEM development experience, a deep understanding of modern web technologies, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment. This position offers a hybrid work schedule based in Adelphi, Maryland.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of web development experience
3+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience
Strong experience with: AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service
Java, OSGi, Sling, and JCR
HTL/Sightly
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
RESTful APIs and integrations
Git and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products
Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments
Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2)
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
Experience supporting federal or enterprise-scale environments
AEM Developer Certification preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within teams

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Build and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and services
Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Integrate AEM with third-party systems, APIs, and enterprise applications
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and content authors to deliver high-quality digital experiences
Implement reusable components and scalable web solutions following best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance and functionality
Support content migration, authoring workflows, and publishing processes
Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards, security policies, and coding standards
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures
