The AEM Website Developer will be responsible for designing scalable AEM solutions aligned with UMGC's digital goals, such as personalized student portals. This role involves translating stakeholder requirements into technical specifications using AEM Sites, Assets, and Forms, and ensuring feasibility with Cloud Manager pipelines and integrations. The developer will build custom components, templates, and workflows using HTL, Java, OSGi, and frontend technologies like React. Key responsibilities include conducting code reviews, testing, and deployments via Cloud Manager, optimizing performance for high-traffic periods, handling upgrades and migrations, providing production support, and implementing secure solutions. The role also involves working in Agile teams, collaborating with University IT and content authors, and potentially mentoring junior developers. Adherence to contracts, NDAs, and knowledge transfer at project end are also required. Experience with integrations, such as MuleSoft, to connect data sources and applications is necessary.
