About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AEM development, including hands-on experience with AEM 6.5+ and a proven track record of successfully completing multiple full-cycle AEM implementation projects. This role requires deep knowledge of Web Content Management (WCM) principles and extensive experience with Java and related AEM technologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AEM 6.5+ (mandatory).
  • Completed at least 2 full-cycle AEM implementation projects.
  • Strong Web Content Management (WCM) experience.
  • Proficiency in Java (Core/Advanced Java).
  • Experience with Apache Sling Framework and Sling Models.
  • Proficiency in HTL (Sightly).
  • Experience with Java Content Repository (JCR API).
  • Knowledge of Apache Felix OSGi (R6/R7).
  • Experience building AEM Components, Templates, Dialogs, Widgets, and Bundles.
  • Experience with Touch UI development.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Core Components.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM).
  • Experience with AEM Workflows.
  • Experience with Headless CMS and AEM Content Fragments.
  • Experience integrating with external systems/APIs.
  • Proficiency in Maven.
  • Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD).
  • Experience with automated testing (Selenium preferred).
  • Experience with application deployment (Dev, QA, Production).
  • Proficiency in Git/Version Control.
  • Experience working with QA, UX, and Project Managers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other CMS platforms (Drupal, Sitecore, etc.).
  • Experience with Hudson CI.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AEM solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Design and build AEM Components, Templates, Dialogs, and Widgets.
  • Develop and manage AEM Workflows and integrate with external systems/APIs.
  • Utilize Headless CMS capabilities, including AEM Content Fragments.
  • Implement Touch UI development and leverage Adobe Core Components.
  • Manage Digital Asset Management (DAM) within AEM.
  • Perform application deployment across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
  • Collaborate with QA, UX, and Project Managers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and debug AEM applications to ensure optimal performance and stability.
  • Implement automated testing strategies, preferably using Selenium.
  • Manage code using Git/Version Control and utilize Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
