Requirements

Bachelor Degree from accredited four-year institution
Excellent communication skills
Good computer/technology skills
Organized
Multi-tasker
Accepting of diversity
Ability to maintain student private records
A life-long learner
Must be able to obtain FBI Fingerprint/Background clearance, ACES, TABE, TABE Class E, MyStar/Banner and other required certification.

Responsibilities

Provide research based instruction to assist student demonstration of success.
Obtain and maintain MO DESE AEL teacher certification.
Obtain a minimum of 20 professional development hours each year.
Complete a two year mentoring program.
Attend all local and state required workshops/training.
Provide evidence based instruction that includes, but limited to, individual, group, on-line, peer tutoring and flip classroom.
Provide student academic counseling.
Assist students with goal setting.
Collaborate with state and local entities to achieve student success.
Recruit students and volunteers.
Establish local community partnerships to assist with student support.
Submit accurate monthly reports in a timely manner.
May be required to serve on local/state Board/Committee.
