About The Position

Parsons is looking for an AEGIS Based Defense SM 3 Technical Monitor Systems Analyst to join a talented and mission-oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers, and Contract staff who are dedicated to delivering missile defense capability to the Fleet. This role is part of a team comprised of highly skilled Engineers and scientists. Requirements

  • US Citizenship with Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job
  • 5+ years of related professional experience
  • Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or Teams
  • Weapon System Experience

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
  • Experience with Missile Systems
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Defining Requirements and Scope
  • Identifying Deliverables and Dependencies
  • Drafting the Statement of Work
  • Contributing to the Independent Government Cost Estimate
  • May serve as on Technical Evaluation Team
  • Coordinate and consolidate SM-3 Reviews and feedback to contractor’s proposals
  • Execute a continuous cycle of surveillance, documentation, and communication to ensure the government receives what it paid for
  • Review Contractor Reports to assess project status, compare expenditures to work completed, and identify potential delays
  • Acts as a liaison between the contractor's technical staff and the government, communicating all observations and findings
  • Final Inspection and Acceptance
  • Reconciliation of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
