About The Position
Hourly, part-time Advocate positions serve youth and families throughout Adams County. The Advocate must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. The role provides direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. Service plans use a strength-based approach and the wraparound model. The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Reliable insured transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with an electronic health record system.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking.
