About The Position

The Women's Advocate provides advocacy and support services to clients in crisis and assists clients to work toward achieving self-sufficiency. The Women's Advocate collaborates with case managers, therapist, and the shelter manager and provides referral to other services as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old to apply.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with community members, clients regardless of income and community social services resources.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all transactions and communications.
• Experience in problem resolution.
• Team Building experience.
